Dear Phoenix Students and Families,

I am truly excited and honored to return to the High School at Moorpark College as your new principal.

HSMC has always held a special place in my heart. I grew up in this community, attended Moorpark schools, and had the joy of teaching right here at HSMC. Returning to this role feels incredibly meaningful, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve this amazing school and work alongside our team of dedicated teachers and staff.

Throughout my career in Moorpark, I have worked in a variety of roles, as a paraeducator, a math teacher, a Moorpark College instructor, and most recently as the program coordinator of mathematics and assessments. Each experience has helped shape who I am as an educator, and I carry all of that with me into this next chapter.

HSMC is truly a special place. The close connections among students, staff, and families, the focus on academic growth, and the supportive small school environment make this community one of a kind. I feel fortunate to be part of it.

To our students: I am genuinely looking forward to meeting each of you. If we already know each other, I cannot wait to reconnect and hear what you have been up to. If we have not met yet, I am excited to learn more about you and what matters most to you. No matter where we are starting from, I am here to support you and help make this a great year.

To our families: I look forward to partnering with you and getting to know you better. I believe strong relationships between home and school are essential to student success, and I am committed to building those connections.
